Damned Pirates Society have issued their response to a treasury funded report, after being tarnished with a High Risk ranking for having an anonymous team, no notable advisors, a private GitHub, and a dubious claim that they purchased X followers.
The DPS team pointed out that their project has been running since November 2021 and has outlasted multiple projects with doxxed teams.
They said that while they maintain a private GitHub, all of their contracts are published and verified on Gitbook.
They disputed the claims of buying X followers, and accused the report writers of generating their content with AI. An initial Quillbot scan of their tweeted report by Pnin suggests that this may be true.
