The PAPI team has submitted Polkadot Referendum 1836 after reaching consensus with Parity. The proposal requests 203K USDC for one year of core maintenance, a significantly reduced scope compared to previous requests. Funding for further development or new features may be addressed in future referenda.
Multix, a multisig solution in the Polkadot ecosystem known for its ease of use, is once again at risk of shutting down at year’s end. The project was handed to the PAPI team in November with expected support from the DeFi Infra Bounty, but that funding path has since closed.
While there still many more features on the horizon, the dev team is confident in its stability and have decided to release Polkadot API 1.0.0 (PAPI), the first stable version. Originally funded by Opengov Referendum 467, PAPI offers a suite of modular Typescript libraries to streamline dApp building on Polkadot.
